Comprised of dedicated animal lovers and pet owners, our staff understands the unique bond that pets and their humans have. This is why we’ve made it our mission to provide unparalleled compassionate care at our comfortable, clean, and state-of-the-art facilities. Because we’re located in a rural area, we have a deep-rooted history in large animal services. In fact, we’ve been treating farm animals and household pets for over 50 years!
With three different office locations and a large staff, we are able to easily provide individualized attention to your pet. We will take the time to thoroughly assess and treat your animal, all while walking you through every step of the process.

What Sets Us Apart
Shippensburg Animal Hospital was founded in 1949 and has grown exponentially since. We currently boast a team comprised of 6 veterinarians, 15 veterinary technicians, 3 groomers, and a 8-member customer service team across our three locations. Due to the extensive and varying backgrounds of our veterinarians, we’re able to provide services that other veterinary hospitals in the area aren’t able to offer. For example, we provide laser therapy for injured animals so we can help them heal quicker. We understand that seeing your animal suffer is heartbreaking, which is why we’ll do everything we can to get him or her back on their paws, hooves, or feet.

Whether your animal needs a routine physical examination, vaccinations, or surgery, we can do it all. Our compassionate veterinarians and staff will also take the time to discuss your options with you should your pet be diagnosed with a serious illness.
