Amanda Clever, LVT

I joined the team at Shippensburg Animal Hospital in June of 2014 after graduating from Wilson College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology. I live in the Shippensburg area with my family. We have 3 indoor cats: Winnifred, Maggie, and Luna, 2 outdoor cats: Weeble and Ashes, 1 dog: Gigi, 2 parakeets, and a betta fish named Oki. In my spare time I love to read and spend time with family and friends.

JoAnn Squires, LVT

I have worked at Shippensburg Animal Hospital P.C. as a licensed animal health technician since 1977 (when it was owned by Dr. Fague). I am also in charge of all hospital inventory. I live in Shippensburg with my husband, John, my son, Ian, and six cats: Snickers, Sierra, Tiger, Isis, Eclipse, and Arusha. My hobbies include traveling, scrapbooking, watching my son swim, walking, biking, and reading.

Ann Newburger, LVT

I have worked as a licensed animal health technician for 13+ years at Shippensburg Animal Hospital P.C.. I work part time as a technician and full time as a teacher in Alternative Education for the Lincoln Intermediate Unit, 3rd – 12th graders. I love both jobs equally. I live with my mother and have eleven cats, two horses, and one goat. I am involved in the Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center and the regional and national branches of the United States Pony Club where I teach young people about the care and management of horses. I also like to crochet, read and do puzzles.

Crystal Hill

I started working at Shippensburg and Mt. Rock Animal Hospitals as a veterinary technician after graduating from Wilson College in 2003. I live in Fayetteville with my husband, Shawn, and our two daughters, Amber and Kylee. We currently have two cats named Sammy and Bob. Over the years we have had a turtle, a tarantula, a lop-eared rabbit, fish, hermit crabs, dwarf hampsters, and 2 hairless dumbo rats. My children have inherited my love of animals. I enjoy spending time with my family, horseback riding, and reading.

Lorraine Moore, LVT

I joined the team at Shippensburg Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician in November of 2014 after moving back to Pennsylvania from Texas. I grew up in lower Bucks County and graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. I met my husband at Penn State and he has moved us to Akron OH, Kane and Bradford PA, Houston and Dallas areas in TX, and now back to PA. We have 2 sons (still in Texas), one cat, and 3 grand-kitties. In my spare time I love to read.

Deb Heisler

I’ve worked with animals all my life and I live in the mountain now with my goats and peacocks. I’m married, and have 3 kids and 9 grandkids. I like running, hiking, reading and having the grandkids visit!

Tiffany Carver

I am currently a senior in high school. I go to the Franklin County Career and Technology Center for veterinary assisting, in which I graduate in may of 2017. I’m a kennel assistant at the Shippensburg Animal Hospital. After I graduate I plan to go to college to become a veterinarian. In my free time I like to spend time with my pets, family, friends and soak up the sun.

Nicole Benedict

I am currently working on my degree in Veterinary Technology through the Penn Foster program. I live in Gettysburg with my two guinea pigs, Buttercup and Sophie and my lab/beagle mix named Holly. My hobbies include playing and watching ice hockey, playing board games and volunteering.

Lindsay McCauslin

I graduated from Wilson College in August of 2016 with two degrees: a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology and an Associate’s in Business. I enjoy traveling the world and have been to numerous foreign countries like Spain, South Africa, and Thailand. In my spare time I like to read, play guitar, and spend time outdoors.

Kelly Flavin, LVT

I graduated from Wilson College in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. Currently, I live with my cats – Roxie, Gracie, and Jude, my Whippet Beatrice, and my guinea pig. I enjoy travelling, and in my spare time love to read, work puzzles, and relax with friends.

Vanessa Smith

I graduated from Johnson College in Scranton, PA with a degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2017.  I live with my little family which includes my 4 legged Husky child named Harley.  Before and after completing my degree I resided in Virginia Beach, which I visit every chance I get.  In my free time I am usually at the dog park, hiking, or puzzling at home.
