Amanda Clever, LVT

I joined the team at Shippensburg Animal Hospital in June of 2014 after graduating from Wilson College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology. I live in the Shippensburg area with my family. We have 3 indoor cats: Winnifred, Maggie, and Luna, 2 outdoor cats: Weeble and Ashes, 1 dog: Gigi, 2 parakeets, and a betta fish named Oki. In my spare time I love to read and spend time with family and friends.

JoAnn Squires, LVT

I have worked at Shippensburg Animal Hospital P.C. as a licensed animal health technician since 1977 (when it was owned by Dr. Fague). I am also in charge of all hospital inventory. I live in Shippensburg with my husband, John, my son, Ian, and six cats: Snickers, Sierra, Tiger, Isis, Eclipse, and Arusha. My hobbies include traveling, scrapbooking, watching my son swim, walking, biking, and reading.

Ann Newburger, LVT

I have worked as a licensed animal health technician for 13+ years at Shippensburg Animal Hospital P.C.. I work part time as a technician and full time as a teacher in Alternative Education for the Lincoln Intermediate Unit, 3rd – 12th graders. I love both jobs equally. I live with my mother and have eleven cats, two horses, and one goat. I am involved in the Franklin County Therapeutic Riding Center and the regional and national branches of the United States Pony Club where I teach young people about the care and management of horses. I also like to crochet, read and do puzzles.

Lorraine Moore, LVT

I joined the team at Shippensburg Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician in November of 2014 after moving back to Pennsylvania from Texas. I grew up in lower Bucks County and graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. I met my husband at Penn State and he has moved us to Akron OH, Kane and Bradford PA, Houston and Dallas areas in TX, and now back to PA. We have 2 sons (still in Texas), one cat, and 3 grand-kitties. In my spare time I love to read.

Deb Heisler

I’ve worked with animals all my life and I live in the mountain now with my goats and peacocks. I’m married, and have 3 kids and 9 grandkids. I like running, hiking, reading and having the grandkids visit!

Tiffany Carver

I graduated from the Franklin County Career and Technology Center for veterinary assisting in May of 2017. I am currently attending Wilson College for Veterinary Medical Technology and am enrolled in the Pre-Vet program. After I graduate I plan to pursue becoming a veterinarian. In my free time I like to spend time with my pets, family, friends and soak up the sun.

Nicole Swisher

I am currently working on my degree in Veterinary Technology through the Penn Foster program. I live in Gettysburg with my two guinea pigs, Buttercup and Sophie and my lab/beagle mix named Holly. My hobbies include playing and watching ice hockey, playing board games and volunteering.

Kelly Flavin, LVT

I graduated from Wilson College in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. Currently, I live with my cats – Roxie, Gracie, and Jude, my Whippet Beatrice, and my guinea pig. I enjoy travelling, and in my spare time love to read, work puzzles, and relax with friends.

Ada Proctor - Vet Assistant

I began working at Shippensburg Animal Hospital in 2017. I am currently studying to become a veterinary technician through Penn Foster College. I live on a small dairy goat farm with several goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. In my spare time I enjoy reading, yarncrafting, and spending time outdoors.

Jessica Lowery, LVT

I started working at for the Shippensburg Animal Hospital during my time at Wilson College where I was earning my Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Technology and graduated in 2016. After a brief move up to State College, my husband Danny and I are back down here and I am so glad to be back with the Shippensburg Animal Hospital team! I have earned my Veterinary Technician License and also have become Fear Free Certified. I grew up in Shippensburg and am now living in Chambersburg with my husband, my goldendoodle Ellie, my shih tzu poodle mix Grady, a California King Snake named Beetlejuice, and a whole lot of fish. In my free time I like to read, hike, ride horses, and be near the water.

Danielle Boock, LVT

I joined the Shippensburg team in 2018 after graduating from the Veterinary Technician Program at Wilson College and passing the national exam for my Vet Tech license. I live in Chambersburg with my family and fur kids. I have 3 cats Ziva, Abby, a three legged tortie, and Nell who is blind, and my crazy whippet dog Rizzo. In my spare time I enjoy reading, video games, and sci fi conventions with friends.

Shania Perry, LVT

I graduated from Wilson College in May of 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Technology and shortly after that I joined the Shippensburg Animal Hospital Team. I live on a farmette with lots of horses big and small, four dogs, a rabbit, and a goat. I enjoy spending time outside whether that be working in the barn, riding atvs, or relaxing by the water.

Missi Groft

I am blessed to have a career as a Vet Tech. Growing up on a farm, caring for animals has always been my passion. Besides being a Vet Tech and am also a dog trainer. I have also been blessed with two amazing daughters and an amazing granddaughter. I have four dogs and two cats at home. My career and life revolve around my belief of showing kindness and compassion in all that I do.
