Surgery at Shippensburg Animal Hospital
Procedures for Pets & Farm Animals
Whether your animal needs planned spay or neuter, or he or she requires emergency surgery, it is important that you have a trusted and experienced veterinarian performing it. Since opening in 1949, Shippensburg, Mount Rock, and Allen Road Animal Hospital have been performing surgeries on a daily basis. Our highly trained veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and hospital staff work as a team to provide your pet or farm animal with quality and compassionate care.
In addition to spays and neuters, our veterinarians perform a variety of surgeries, including:
- Laser surgery
- Soft-tissue surgery
- Orthopedic surgery
- C-sections for farm animals
- Emergency exploratory surgery
- Lump removals
We understand that taking your pet in for any surgical procedure, planned or unplanned, can be scary and stressful for both you and your pet. This is why our team is here to answer any questions and address any concerns you may have.
It is our mission to provide the highest quality care from the moment you check your pet in, throughout the entire procedure, and during their in-patient stay as they recuperate in our hospital.
